Perhaps you could commit your patches in git, upon the master branch
of https://github.com/madler/zlib.git and publish your repo.
(if you dont want to keep your own public repo, you can use my OSS-QM
repo, or some free service like github).

Use git rebase from time to time to keep your branch ontop the mainline.
