I would consider that for the next version (not 1.2.4).  Yes, tell me about your framework.

I have a bunch of tests I run, but they depend on a large set of input and output data that I obviously wouldn't want to make part of a normal distribution.  Also some of the data is proprietary.

Perhaps a test suite would require the user to separately download things like the Calgary corpus and enwik8 if they want to run the tests.
