would it be possible to add benchmark and unit tests ? adding rules like 
'check' and 'bench' that launches tests and benchmarks ? I think that unit 
tests must be added if the asm and parralel compression are valid or not.

About unit tests, i have written a very small "framework" that you can use 
if you want.
