[Zlib-devel] zlib 1.2.3.2 available for testing

zlibbers,

zlib 1.2.3.2 is available for testing.  There are relatively few  
changes, but enough to likely screw up compilation on many  
platforms.  First, I have changed configure and Makefile.in to build  
both shared and static libraries when shared libraries are  
requested.  Second, I attempt to detect the need for defining  
_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE and using off64_t.  We'll see how well (or not)  
that all works.  You can get the beta version here:

Oh, and the heinous zconf.in.h has been expurgated.  This will  
require updates for the non-Makefile build projects to depend on and  
install zlibdefs.h.
