[Zlib-devel] Website mirror, old URL and zlib >= 1.2.2

By reading somes message, I discovered that a lot of people that use zLib
don't use 1.22 because of old URL, well known than http://www.zlib.net

Try http://www.google.fr/search?q=zlib& : the two first link go to jl Gailly
page (1.21) , the third to infozip page (1.13 and link to jl Gailly 1.21
page)


There is two problem :
- the old URL, like http://www.info-zip.org/pub/infozip/zlib/ tell "the
official zlib site moved on 27 April 2001. The new site is
http://www.gzip.org/zlib/", and show only 1.13. Somes mirror like
http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/tools/zip/info-zip/zlib/ show same text. It
seem that
- the http://www.gzip.org/zlib/ / http://www.zlib.org show version 1.2.1 and
jl Gailly don't update it


The up-to-date infozip page (modified 11 jan 2005) is well updated at somes
URL, like, by example :
http://www.info-zip.org/pub/infozip/
http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/tools/zip/info-zip/
http://sunsite.cnlab-switch.ch/ftp/mirror/infozip/

It seem that leo.org problem are now fixed

So I suggest, in page
http://www.info-zip.org/pub/infozip/zlib/
And mirror like http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/tools/zip/info-zip/

Include the latest 1.22 version instead 1.13 and remove link to
http://www.gzip.org/zlib/ (of course http://www.zlib.net can be used)
