[Zlib-devel] OSX and usage of /usr/bin/libtool

Since commit [1], /usr/bin/libtool is hardcoded on OSX. This resulted
in turn for Gentoo Prefix users on pre-Lion systems in [2].
I'm wondering why there was/is a conflict with GNU libtool on OSX. As
far as I'm aware GNU libtool is called glibtool on OSX, and this seems
respected by MacPorts, Fink, homebrew and of course Gentoo Prefix.
I'm happy to accept this problem is an artifact of using a more
up-to-date toolchain than originally provided with the system, however,
if this change was just made as a pre-caution, it would make it slightly
simpler for me if the change could be reverted.
Thanks,
Fabian
