[Zlib-devel] zlib 1.2.6.1

I meant:

git clone https://github.com/madler/zlib.git git

That's the URL off the web page, next to the "zip" button. It apparently doesn't do what I expected, I've never been an intuitive user.

Whatever I got when I typed:

git clone https://github.com/madler/zlib/tree/develop git

A subsequent "git branch" suggests that it is the master branch, which, apparently, is not the "develop" branch, so apparently I just tested the wrong thing. "egrep WATCOM" shows nothing.

I note that if I check out origin/develop it has ZLIB_VERSION "1.2.7-motley" and "egrep WATCOM" shows important new lines... ooh I hate git. Forget my prior success.
