ACK. I'd suspect master to be what's becoming the next release,
while devel would contain potentially unstable (bleeding-edge) code.


If you want some ref for pointing to the latest release, you could
could call it eg. "latest" (branch IMHO would be the most comfortable,
as tags are normally not overwritten and directly put in the local
refs/tags/ namespace, other namespaces are probably not fetched
per default and are not so well known to wider audience ... ;-o)
