All, What if we added a ZLIB_CONST #define that, if defined, would add the const's in zlib.h where appropriate? Mark p.s. Back in its dark beginnings when zlib was being forged in the heart of a volcano, we attempted to put in const's. However too many compilers of the time couldn't handle the truth.
