Actually, for me - in the OSS-QM project - it's essential, as
I'm _always_ putting my branches/tags ontop of the recent upstream
releases.
Of course, I can pull from svn - even if it suxx - but *if* we
are talking about moving to some vcs (which I'd really suggest)
I'd prefer something more flexible than svn ;-p
