[Zlib-devel] zlib project in libpng

I am getting complaints that the zlib project in
libpng is now broken due the the removal of gzio.c
from zlib-1.2.4 and the addition of other gz* files.

I am inclined to remove the zlib project from
the libpng distribution.  It has served its purpose.

Unfortunately removing it may break some targets
of the libpng project as well, so I need a person
familiar with the Windows operationg system to
fix it (I am not one of those!).

The zlib project appears to be already gone from
our projects/visualc6 directory, but it's still
in the visualc71 directory.
