If so, I would be happy to rebase the patches I proposed some time ago
against zlib-1.2.3.4 version
(when I am back at home on 30th Dec).
I use the patched version of zlib on Fedora10 (and earlier on Fedora8)
for quite a few month and compress 500MB - 1GB of data per month
using minizip and so far have encountered no problems with the
patched version.
