I may want to change my own code that does this; making this  happen
in a publicly included .h file suppresses these warnings for my own
purposes.

They're stupid warnings, and Microsoft should be shot for doing them
the way they did them, but we're stuck with them for right now.

I mostly found this in something that is *also* using C (not C++), but
even in that I made the decision to change how the makefile is made,
not the include files.
