Well, I'll try, but if there isn't one that meets our needs, then it
will have to be a YAOOL. As for the huge investment, I can certainly
see how there would be a huge investment in analyzing the rather
lengthy GPLish licenses out there. In fact there will be an enormous
investment on my part attempting to understand several of those long,
existing licenses before I could pick one and use it. (The nice
thing about standards is that there are so many to choose from. I
count 58 approved licenses on the opensource site, including the zlib/
libpng license.) The YAOOL I'm envisioning would be the current
three-restriction zlib license with a fourth, single-sentence
restriction added. How huge was the investment to analyze the
current zlib license?

It is my understanding that Igor would like to maintain his own
income stream, which comes from custom applications of his code for
commercial use.
