[Zlib-devel] known bugs in distance-checking code?

To state the obvious, it seems that other browsers haven't upgraded to the
latest zlib. Zlib 1.1.4 or earlier started the problem by allowing the
image to be displayed. 1.2 is not compatible in minor ways with 1.1. Unless
there's a serious requirement for 1.2, it seems mozilla should continue to
use 1.1.4 until other browsers also upgrade. This also means for zlib 1.2 to
be more widely accepted it will have to fix it's behavior to be consistent
with 1.1.4 or have a compatibility mode. Life's rough. Be nice to make a
program to patch the faulty .png's too if possible.
