[Zlib-devel] zlib 1.2.1.2 available for testing

Hi,

Out of the box, as it is now, it will not compile unless you do a couple
of modifications to zconf.h. Secondly it depends on what MVS level you
want to test it on. If your MVS system supports PDS-E datasets you have
the option of compiling it into a DLL module. When not, you have to link
it to what ever your test program is going to be. Personally I've tested
it on Z/Os 1.4 as a DLL module, called by minizip out of the contrib
directory and a couple of test programs you get with the distro. I think
that makes my testing somewhat limited but all seem to work fine.

Ps when compiling expect a lot of warning messages, but most of them are
because of IBM-s C compiler.
