Objet : [Zlib-devel] zlib 1.2.0.5 available for testing
All,
Thanks to Cosmin's tireless and masterful efforts to whip zlib and it's DLLs
into shape, zlib 1.2.0.5 is now available for testing. You can get it here:
http://www.alumni.caltech.edu/~madler/zlib-1.2.0.5.tar.gz
Please give this a go, especially those of you inclined to compile and use
DLLs, the assembly coded routines for Intel processors, or 16-bit memory
models. Really everyone should try it, since there have been a lot changes
in the name of portability.
I have also added some functionality to inflate to allow ending at block
boundaries and returning information at those boundaries that can enable
deflate stream concatenation and appending.
Happy compiling!
mark
