Ok, but until then, what's your position? Do you agree to make support
claims about the ASM inflation code? We need to know this, so that we
know how to build the official DLL: with or without ASM.

You don't need to worry about the ASM deflation code (ASMV). I claimed
that the insignificat speed increase doesn't justify its inclusion in
the official build, and noone disagreed so far.

By the way, since the WINAPI build of zlib (zlibwapi.dll) is a private
build, supported by Gilles, it's entirely up to him if any of the ASM
code is used in it.
