OK to drop this into Red Hat rawhide?

The immediate consequences are miniscule as long as you have proper versioning,
Raw Hide is just a pile of "stuff", very ephemeral.

OTPH, the immediate benefit is that you will get more eyes upon zlib-1.2.0.3.
